Status: Archived Experience the the majesty of a meteor shower from a kayak. We will paddle 2.5 miles to a secluded, low-light spot to provide optimal viewing conditions. A night sky full of stars over the lake is a beautiful sight. This is an intermediate level event not suitable for beginners.
Meet at the boat ramp. Kayaks, canoes, life jackets, and paddles are provided. Open to everyone 6 and up who can swim. Advance registration and payment are required. Tour spots are on a first come first served basis. Call or stop by the office to reserve a spot. Flashlights are required. Don't forget drinking water and bug spray. This is an intermediate level event. Approximately 6 miles round-trip. Tour size is limited to first 7 paid reservations.
