Status: Archived Are you brave enough to start off the New Year with a chilling plunge into the lake at Fort Mountain? Take part in a Fort Mountain tradition that keeps growing each year. Warm up after the big chill with coffee and hot chocolate next to a campfire.
Registration for the Black Bear Plunge starts November 1st and is $15 until December 8th. You will be guaranteed a t-shirt in your size if you register before December 8th. Registration after the 8th until the day of the plunge goes up to $20.
The First Day Hike is a moderate, rocky one-mile hike with plenty of nature, history and sightseeing to satisfy the whole family. Please register in advance. Hike Starts at 12:30 PM $5 plus $5 parking
