Volunteer Day at Vann House

pre-registration required. Help with cleaning the nature trail, shrubbery pruning and garden clearing. Bring water, sun protection, bug-spray and closed toed shoes. Call to pre-register. We are offering free admission and and a t-shirt to volunteers. Click for more details.

For State Parks Day, we will be doing trash pick-up and pruning our 1-mile section of the Pinhoti Trail. Other activities may include trimming our roses and hedges for winter, weeding small garden beds, and putting down our Three Sisters Garden for winter.RSVP to let us know your coming and we will have tools ready. 706-695-2598. Free admission includes the Vann House, log-cabin exhibits, and museum. All activities are outdoor and weather permitting. Regular admission is required if not volunteering. Bring water, sun protection, closed-toed shoes, bug-spray. Staff can supply gloves and tools, but if you have a favorite pair of clippers, bring them along! To ensure your visit is a fantastic experience, staff and members of Friends of the Vann House will be available through the historic home and grounds to answer your questions.
