Adventure Ranger Day Camp

It's time for Camp! Register your Junior Ranger for one of our 10-13 year old Day Camp June 10th -12th. Activities will include but are not limited to stream ecology, nature hikes/ walk, bird watching, fishing, archery, games, history tours, and other outdoor activities. $80 per camper. Registration is required.

The day will be organized into 1 hour sessions throughout the day. There will be a scheduled lunch and down time. Activities will include but are not limited to stream ecology, nature hikes/ walk, bird watching, fishing, archery, games, history tours, and other outdoor activities.

Drop off is between 8:30-9:00 am. A park employee must sign your camper in. Activities will be held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Pick up is between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm. A park employee must sign your camper out.

Please pack your camper a lunch and any snacks or drinks they may need. A water bottle is also required.

The cost is $80 per child per session (3 days). Save $5 per camper when you register three or more at a time ($75 per camper instead of $80). Must register for the same session. Campers must be register for all three days (even if they cannot attend one day). Ages 10-13.

Registration: You have two ways to do this. 1.) call us with your email, and we can email you the registration packet, which must be filled out and returned with the payment to Fort Yargo State Park in order to reserve y our campers space (this can also be returned via email and payments made over the phone). OR 2.) Pick up a registration packet at the visitors center and pay in the office. Registration closes 5 days prior to the event date.

Cancellations: Full refunds will be given for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the camp date. After that date, no refund will be given. However, we can transfer the program fees to another camp or public program (FYLHS and Friends programs are excluded).
