Status: Archived Memorabilia from Georgia’s last WW II Merrill’s Marauder Vincent Melillo will be displayed by his daughter, Jonnie Melillo Clasen, who will also present a short slide presentation on the “expendable” unit’s history in the China Burma India Theater.
Displays honor WW II Merrill’s Marauders 75th anniversary
Only 12 Marauders are still living. Related Merrill’s Marauder exhibits will be set up by Bob Anzuoni, director of Fort Gordon’s Signal Corps Museum, and graphic-exhibit artist Tom Walker, with his “Military Chaplains” display.
