Status: Archived We will focus on the preparation, cooking, and cleaning involved with cooking a meal outdoors using a rotisserie spit. We provide the equipment and ingredients, but participants may bring spices of their choice. Participants will receive an invite to ceremony and assist with meal preparation at our Pioneer Thanksgiving Event on November 23rd.
This learning opportunity is available to anyone 18 and over, and limited to 10 participants. Interested persons should register in person at the museum during regular business hours and days of operation.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
