Status: Archived This hike is an 11-mile, one-way hike that celebrates the shared history of Hardman Farm and Anna Ruby Falls! Anna Ruby Falls was named after Capt. James Nichols’ daughter, Anna Ruby Nichols. Capt. Nichols built the Mansion at West End in the Nacoochee Valley in 1870.
Hike all the way from the base of Anna Ruby Falls through Unicoi State Park and the City of Helen to join the Helen to Hardman Heritage Trail for the final 0.8 mile to the Farm. Pre-registration required. Limited to 50 participants.

Hardman Farm is located at the intersection of Highways 17 and 75, one mile south of Helen. The temporary entrance is on Highway 75 just north of the intersection.
Some GPS units will mistakenly take you into downtown Helen.
