Status: Archived Register your troop for a ranger-led paddle on Billy's Lake to look for wildlife and then visit Billy's Island to learn about its history. This program is offered in partnership with the Girl Scouts in honor of the National Girl Scouts Love State Parks initiative. Pr-registration is required. Space is very limited.
This trip will be a 4 mile round trip paddle with a half mile hike. Bring water, sunscreen and bug spray. Dress for the weather.
Ages 5 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult. No one younger than 5 due to safety reasons. Sign up in advance by phone. Spots are limited. Program can be cancelled for weather.
Must sign a waiver. Must be able to paddle a canoe or kayak independently. Closed toe shoes only. Advanced reservations are non-refundable unless program is cancelled.
