Curious on how make a flower pot, mug, or bowl out of clay? The people of the Mississippian Culture historically built sturdy coil pots and containers to store everything from seeds to water, and even food. Visitors attending the class will receive a pound of air dry clay, and you will learn step by step how to build their own coil pot. $2-$6 $5 Program Fee. 770-387-3747.

Having Fun with Blowguns

Learn about one of the most simple and effective historic tools used taking down small game: The blowgun! Blowguns were often the first weapon given children to teach basic hunting skills! From 1PM-2PM, visitors can spend time with a ranger and learn how to make simple blow darts from every day materials and test them out on 3D animal targets. $5. 770-387-3747.
