Run into the New Year at Watson Mill! This is not a race but an opportunity to get your heart rate up while connecting with nature and other runners. Route is a moderate 5K / 3.1 mile trail route covering the Hiking/Biking Trail and the Ridge Loop. We aim for this to be the first of regular, monthly runs at the park - Strava group coming soon! $5 parking. 706-783-5349.

Night sky conditions are just right for viewing the Lyrids Meteor Shower at its peak this year- we may see up to 17 meteors in an hour! Bring a blanket or comfortable chair for looking skywards and remember to dress warm! If there are cloudy skies or rain, meteors won't be visible. Please call the office the day by April 21st to sign up. $5 parking. 706-783-5349.

Night sky conditions are just right for viewing the Perseids Meteor Shower at its peak this year- we may see up to 150 meteors in an hour! Bring a blanket or comfortable chair for looking skywards.
