 es. Murders. An urban hike offered at the Dahlonega Gold Museum State His
 toric Site introduces visitors to these cases and even more from the anna
 ls of Lumpkin County court records.\n\nGuest will begin their tour at the
  museum\, which is housed in the original Lumpkin County courthouse. As t
 he acting courthouse for 129 years\, the courtroom saw a wide variety of 
 colorful cases\, and a knowledgeable park ranger will share these stories
  of Lumpkin County's criminal justice system\, and how criminals broke th
 e law and suffered the consequences in this justice system. The tour take
 s about 45 minutes to an hour. Bring adequate clothing for the weather. S
 ome of the sidewalks around Dahlonega are uneven but the ranger can adjus
 t the route to accommodate guests.
