This ranger-led cruise is all about the ambiance as you relax and enjoy the sensory experience of the swamp's transition from day to night. As the sun inches towards the horizon, the mirror lake creates a reflection of the changing sky above. Birds fly back to roost and crickets, owls and frogs start to sing. We may even spot alligators. $35 for ages 12+

Join us for a peaceful evening on the great Okefenokee swamp and listen to it's nightly song. we'll meet at the Trading post and then head to our canoes or kayaks( your choice) then we will paddle out to Billy's Lake to watch the sun sink down below the horizon. make sure to bring plenty of water, sun screen, and bug spray. This ride will give you an unobstructed view of the Geminids meteor shower over the open waters of Billy's Lake in the great Okefenokee Swamp.
