Come catch the Geminids Meteor shower under one of the darkest skies in the southeast. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and watch the sky above. Though a telescope is not necessary to view a meteor shower we will have one available to view other objects in the night sky. $5 parking. 912-637-5274.

Come join us in celebration of the New Year with a sunrise hike on the Trembling Earth Nature Trail and Boardwalk! This trail is a mile round trip and is on flat terrain. Please bring closed toe shoes and water for this event. We will meet at the trading post before beginning. This program will last for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. $5 parking. 912-637-5274.

Join us for the first meteor shower of the year on the water! Paddle along Billy's Lake of the Okefenokee Swamp in search of beautiful shooting stars in the sky. This is an hour and a half paddle on still water, please dress for the weather and bring water for this program. Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out a waiver prior to the paddle. $30 plus $5 parking. 912-637-5274.
