Junior Ranger camp is ideal for kids aged 7-11. They will join our Ranger to complete activities in the Junior Ranger book. Activities include tour of the Mill House, a hike, leave no trace concept, learn about the gopher tortoise and more. They will need to bring their lunch. We will discuss how to build a fire, then make fire without matches using a magnesium starter & then make smores over the fire we built. Kids of all ages can learn how to gather items to start a fire but only kids 8 and over will get to use magnesium starter to practice this technique.
