Wonder why Panola Mountain is a restricted area? Come on a guided hike to learn about the unique ecology and history of Panola Mountain State Park. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring plenty of water. Hike is moderately strenuous and covers approx. 3.5 miles. Ages 10+. Meet at Nature Center. Click event for more details.
Groups of 10 or more must register for a private hike. Meet at Nature Center.
Reservations are nonrefundable. Participants must give at least 24 hours notice if they need to reschedule. Transfer credits will only be applied to a similar program.
In the case of severe weather, the park may deem it necessary to cancel or reschedule the hike. Park staff will notify registered participants of any change of plans prior to the event.
If there are no sign-ups by the end of the day prior to the hike, the park reserves the right to cancel the program.
