Some tools will be provided. If you have tools please bring them. Water and snacks will be provided.
Friends of HLC 2022 workdays:
• February 12 – Volunteers are needed to refresh trail, safety zone, and boundary blazes.
• March 12 – Equestrian workday
• April 9 - Power washing the kayaks and canoes and cleaning the storage shed at the beach.
• May 14 – Beautifying the beach area: limb pruning, garden repair, etc.
• June 4 – National Trails Day: Volunteers needed to clean up park trails
• July 9 – Improving the picnic area at the fishing road (boat ramp)
• August 6 – Cleaning shoreline by canoe/kayaks.
• September 24 – Your State Parks Day: projects to be determined.
• November 12 – Eliminate invasive species and brush around various CCC structures.
