This nature hike will begin in our amphitheater and proceed down to the river along our Interpretive trail. At the river we will spend some time looking for wild-life around the river. We will then hike back to the museum along our River Walk Nature Trail.
What do you think you will see on our nature hike as you cross through a field of grass to the shaded river woods? Be prepared to see a variety of things, such as insects, birds, river animals, and plants. Pack some water and snacks for our short hike, and bring things you like to observe nature with, like your favorite pair of binoculars, sketch book, or identification guides. Close toed shoes, insect repellent, and a hat are recommended.
