Etowah Fall Nature Hike

Saturday, Oct 31, 2026 (10 AM to 12 PM)

This nature hike will begin in our amphitheater and proceed down to the river along our Interpretive trail. As we enjoy the fall colors we will talk about identifying our native hardwood plants and the importance of various species to the Southeastern tribes. before hiking back to the museum along our River Walk Nature Trail.

What do you think you will see on our nature hike as you cross through a field of grass to the shaded river woods? Bring things you like to observe nature with, like your favorite pair of binoculars, sketch book, or identification guides. Close toed shoes and weather-appropriate attire are recommended.
