Join Georgia Highlands College Professors Robert Young and Mark Pergrem for an evening of learning about the cosmos. A presentation about the upcoming solar eclipse will be held at 7:30pm, and at 8PM visitors can venture onto the grounds (weather permitting) for a star party. Spots are limited so make sure to reserve in advance by calling!
Please dress for the weather and bring a flashlight with a red filter to help find your way in the dark without limiting night vision. Cold refreshments will be provided! Please call the office at New Echota State Historic Site to reserve a spot and stay up to date on weather cancellations.
