Are you curious about the residents that lived here before Hard Labor Creek became a state park? Join us for a ranger-led cemetery paddle and hike on a secluded section of the park. Please bring closed toed shoes, water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Register in advance by using the link below.
First, we will enjoy a one hour paddle around lake Rutledge. Then, once we reach the trail, we will hike to the cemetery (1 hour hike total). After we visit the cemetery, we will hike and paddle back to the beach area. Suitable for ages 8 and older. Please bring water, bug spray, and a change of clothes/towel. Wear closed-toe shoes for the hike.
