This ranger-led paddle + hike around Lake Rutledge will take participants back in time to the 1930s. By 1 hour paddle and then a short hike we will reach Indian Rock, one of the park's hidden jewels. Bring closed-toe shoes, water, and bug repellent. Use the link below to register in advance. Program open to general public including Girl Scouts.
First, we will enjoy a one hour paddle around lake Rutledge. Then, once we reach the trail, we will hike to the indian rock (1 hour hike total). After we visit indian rock, we will hike and paddle back to the beach area. Suitable for ages 8 and older. Please bring water, bug spray, and a change of clothes/towel. Wear closed-toe shoes.
