Status: Archived Are you looking for a unique Savannah experience? Put on your hiking shoes, bring a flashlight, and join us for a full moon hike in the Wormsloe maritime forest. Get a rare view of a sunset over the Moon River and moon rise over our inter-coastal wetlands. The hike will start at the Visitors Center and be approximately 2 hours on a 3 mile trail.
These hikes are a part of our limited Summer program offerings. We will be highlighting Wormsloe Historic Site’s extended trail system, the history of the site through the centuries, and how Wormsloe fits in with the history of our Moon River neighbors.
Advance reservations are required. Call the Park office at 912-353-3023 to purchase your tickets prior to the day of the program.
