Celebrate the last day of 2025 with a torch-lit sunset tour of the historic city of Etowah. On Wednesday, December 31st, the Mounds will be open until 9:00 pm, with a guided tour up Mound A starting at 6:30 pm to view the sunset. Walk with a ranger, view the stars, or try some piping hot corn fritters along other traditional southern recipes
People of all ages are welcome. Pets on a 5 foot leash are allowed. Concessions will be available from the Friends of Etowah volunteers. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes, and dress appropriately for the weather. The walk up the mound A is medium-high intensity.
