Survival Skills (Compass Orienteering, Fire Building)


Saturday, Sep 30, 2023 (10 AM to 12:30 PM)

Walk through the forest with a ranger, looking for materials to build a fire and learn how to orient yourself using a compass. Then, build a fire without matches. Supplies provided. Geared towards people 8 years and older. Space limited to 12 participants. Pre-registration required.

Please bring water, bug repellent and closed-toe shoes as we will walk off the trail. Please call the park office to pre-register. We accept all credit/debit cards. Event's location will be provided after you pre-register.
