Join the Friends of Pickett's Mill in helping to improve our natural and historical areas here in the park. We will focus our efforts on the Large Wheat Field. Water and snacks provided. Please bring gloves. Admission is free for volunteers.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
