With a Birding Hike at 9a.m. Learn about the the flora and pollinators that sustain life in this land. See some of the plants that the Cherokee were growing in the early 19th century. Enjoy a tree-identification hike and butterfly activity. Make your own 'seed bomb,' take part in a pollination activities, meet a bee keeper, and more.

Bring your binoculars for a closer look at our lovely songbirds Tree identification hike with Forester Blake Lovell, down our half-mile, medium level trail. the return trip is a half-mile at your own pace. Join Brenda Jackson from the UGA Extension Lab at 3p.m. for a program about butterflies. Master Gardener Gwen Fisher from the Chattooga County Garden club will be teaching about Guerilla Gardening by helping you make your own "Seed Bomb." Enjoy more pollinator related activities and crafts and meet a bee-keeper. Annual passes will not be accepted for this event.
