Status: Archived On April 9th, Lake Rutledge will have 6 jumbo eggs hidden along the banks. From 11am - 2pm look for the eggs. When you find them, take a picture of each egg from your boat and bring your phone/camera with the pics to the beach area. The Easter Bunny will be at the beach from 12 pm - 3 pm to look at the photos and award you an eggciting surprise!
Please don't remove the Easter Eggs from the water.
Bring your own boat, or rent a canoe or a kayak from us ($15 /boat per hour, cash only) first come first serve at the beach area. Limited number of kayaks/canoes available. PFDs and paddles provided with the boat rental. Bring water, sunscreen, and a towel.
You can launch your own boat from the boat ramp. Non-motorized boats, trolling boats and gas boats up to 10 HP are allowed. Boaters must follow GA Boating Regulations regarding life jackets/PFDs.
