Bring the family out for a weekend of summer fun. Saturday, learn about pioneer life with activities like planting seeds, harvesting vegetables, caring for farm animals, butter churning, spinning yarn, and making toys. Sunday at 1 PM learn how pioneers used nature to survive and learn all about natural dyes. We'll finish the day by making tie-dye.
Reservation required. The historic site covers a half mile of walking up and down hill. Many of our historic structures require the use of stairs to see inside. Program runs Saturday 10AM-12PM & 1PM-3PM. Bring your own picnic lunch on Saturday and stay for all the activities. Program restarts at 1PM on Sunday and runs until 3PM.
