Friday, October 14
2:30 PM: Arrive at visitor’s center and purchase ferry ticket
3:30 PM: Ferry departs Meridian Dock
4:00 PM: Arrive on Sapelo Island and load on trailer for trip to Cabretta Campground
4:30 PM: Free time to set up camp and make dinner
7:30 PM: Welcome campfire with s’mores
Saturday, October 15
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Seine netting, crabbing and fishing times are tide dependent, beach combing, birding or relax at camp
6:00 PM: Low country boil at group pavilion
Sunday, October 16
8:30 AM: Depart campground for bike tour
9:00 AM: Bike tour of Sapelo’s south end
1:00 PM: Return to campground. Lunch on your own. Break down camp.
2:45 PM: Depart campground for ferry dock
4:00 PM: Ferry departs Sapelo Island
4:01 PM: Start making plans to come back and create your own Island adventures!

What to bring:
Camping gear, tent, sleeping bag, pad, flashlight, food for meals and snacks, refillable water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, clothing suitable for weather changes and entering water, plus an adventurous attitude.
