Status: Archived Join historian, John Croom, for a lively presentation on the New Deal era’s Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), which was designed to provide employment to young men during the Great Depression.
Croom’s presentation will focus on the creation of the CCC, its impact of the development of FD Roosevelt State Park and the legacy it created. The presentation will be held at the Lake Franklin Event Center.
