Homeschool at Panola: Having a Beary Good Time

 This event has already occurred.

Status: Archived
Often when we think of Hibernation we think of bears, but in reality tons of animals hibernate! How are animals adapted in order to survive the winter? We will be focusing on hibernation, torpor, and brumation during this homeschool as well as studying the bears that make up Katmai National Park's Fat Bear Week. There will be classroom time, an activity, as well as a live animal presentation.
