Enjoy the first day of the New Year watching the sunrise from the Blue Ridge Overlook. This hike is for all ages, and 4-legged family members are welcome. The trail is a .25 mile leisurely stroll to the Blue Ridge Overlook. Enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate before or after the hike. Meet at the Black Rock Mountain State Park Visitor Center.
The hike itself is not ADA Accessible, but those who are unable to do the hike may drive up to the Blue Ridge Overlook around 7:30am to enjoy the sunrise with us.
Any dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
