Black History Month Celebration - Super Museum Sunday

To celebrate Black History Month, the Geechee Gullah Ring Shouters will perform at 2:00pm, and storyteller Margarie Washington will share traditional Gullah Geechee stories at 3:00pm. Admission is FREE all day, 9:00am - 5:00pm.

The Geechee Gullah Ring Shouters are internationally known for their unique historical and educational performance. The Ring Shout is a connection to Africa and the former enslaved people in America. Margarie Washington is known as the Maya Angelou of Storytelling within the Gullah Geechee culture, and she is a direct descendent from plantations in our region.
