Homeschool at Panola: Panola Mountain's Rare Ecology Hike

The Diamorpha smallii will be in bloom! Join Panola Mountain State Park's rangers to learn about how Panola Mountain was formed, and about the rare ecology and plants that grow on the mountain.

This hike is a total of 1.75 miles and is moderately strenuous. Wear closed toed shoes with good traction, bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Pets, strollers, and toddlers will not be allowed on this hike. Child participants must have an accompanying adult that is at least 18 years old.
Please arrive on time for the program. We will meet at the Nature Center and caravan to the conservation area to begin the hike. Late arrivals will not be able to join.
