Status: Archived Join us for an introductory hike to the local birds of Georgia. Birds can be found around the fields, woods and creeks of Pickett’s Mill. Enjoy the sights and sounds of our native birds. Admission fee required. Bring binoculars or the park has a few to lend. Call 770-443-7850 for registration.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
