Status: Archived Black History month is a time set aside to recognize the achievements of African American people both past and present. As part of this month’s recognition we offer this program spotlighting one of our community’s most influential leaders, Mary Hayes.
Learn how a girl born to adversity persevered to become a woman who made great strides for education and the welfare of her community. Join our interpretive ranger at the amphitheater for this exclusive look into the life of a wonderful woman with a heart of gold. Program will begin at 11 AM, admission is $3 and may be purchased at the main office.
