Status: Archived Bring your hiking shoes and enjoy a visit to Dowdell’s Knob, FDR’s favorite picnic spot in Georgia. Sweeping valley views and great company as we hike Dowdell’s Knob Loop (4.3 mi) and chat about the park’s human and natural history. Meet by the statue at Dowdell’s Knob Overlook. No restrooms at the site. Dress for the weather. Free.
