Blue Ridge Raptors will be bringing some of their amazing birds!
Blue Ridge Raptors is an education program that brings live birds of prey to the Park.
This program teaches us about the unique attributes of raptors and addresses the challenges in both endangering and protecting these majestic birds.
5 birds are used in the presentation – one red tailed hawk and 4 owls (great horned, barred, barn and eastern screech) All the birds are non-releasable because of some sort of permanent injury. All have a unique story to tell. All of these birds are native to North Ga.
