Status: Archived Junior Rangers (ages 8-12) will explore the historical and natural significance of Wormsloe State Historic site. Two dedicated rangers will help them earn their Junior Ranger badges by completing activities that cover the following topics: safety, site history, ecosystems and environment, food chains, animals and insects, trees, and hiking.
Space is limited - only 12 spots available.
Parents must pay in advance to reserve spot and accompany child on the first morning to complete registration paperwork.
Participants must bring water bottles, sack lunches, and wear sensible, closed-toe shoes. Sunscreen and insect spray are highly encouraged.
Meet at the Visitor Center no later than 9:45 a.m. on June 10 to begin paperwork to ensure program begins on time.
Children will begin their day at orientation at 10:00 a.m. with the senior rangers at the picnic area. Parents will drop them off, then check into Visitor Center to complete paperwork in the theater.
