Status: Archived Parents of kids ages 6-12: Get your kid ready to have fun, explore, and learn at Junior Ranger Camp at Hofwyl this year!
June 26-29, 8:30 AM-12:30 PM
Cost is $55 (or $60 after June 23rd)
-We recommend bug spray, sun screen, water bottles, and good walking shoes. NOTE: The bug level is quite high on site. If your camper needs to borrow bug spray from us, it will contain DEET. If you prefer all-natural bug sprays you will need to provide your own. Bug spray (with DEET or all-natural) is also available for purchase in our gift shop.
-We will provide snacks, but not lunch. Your family is welcome to stay on site after camp ends and picnic if you'd like!
-We will get wet and messy on Thursday morning. Bring a towel and a change of clothes.
-Campers will be learning about being a Park Ranger. They will be encouraged to try new things, explore, and work as a team. Each camper will receive a Junior Ranger Booklet and Badge, and will be sworn in as Junior Rangers at the end of the week. Family is encouraged to attend this brief ceremony at 12:00pm on Thursday.
Monday: 8:30am drop-off and 12:30pm pick-up at Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation (5556 US Hwy 17 N, Brunswick, GA 31525)
Tuesday: 8:30am drop-off and 12:30pm pick-up at Fort King George (302 McIntosh Rd, Darien, GA 31305)
Wednesday: TBD
Thursday: 8:30am drop-off and NOON badge ceremony/pick-up at Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation.
