Drinking History: Sipping with the Guale

The Guale Indians who called these coastal marshes home used a variety of plants to prepare helpful herbal "teas". Join us on a walking tour where we discover the history of this tribe. Enjoy a cup of spruce and yaupon, two most commonly imbibed teas among the Native tribes.

November is Native American Heritage Month. Fort King George is offering several educational programs honoring the Muskogean-speaking peoples of the area.
