Join a naturalist at 11:00AM and hike to our Turtle overlook on the Etowah River. At 2:00PM Join us for a Build-Your-Own-Turtle Craft. Meet a live tortoise and learn about turtles and how they were used by Native American cultures in the past. We will also have chalk available to draw our own turtles along our sidewalk
World Turtle Day is a celebration all about turtles, tortoises, and their unique conservation needs! This is a Wild Georgia Event!
The nature hike and tortoise meet & greet are free with admission.
The Build-Your-Own-Turtle Craft is $2 programming fee and will be held in our site theater.
