The Great Backyard Bird Count

Watch birds alongside a naturalist at our birding station and take part in the Great Backyard Bird Count. This citizen science event started by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society allows anyone to enjoy nearby nature while also contributing to our overall knowledge of bird populations and habits. Beginners and seasoned birders alike are welcomed to meet at the Interpretive Center to observe and learn about some of the beautiful birds here at the park. Guests are encouraged to bring their own binoculars, but they are not necessary.
