Status: Archived Arbor Day emphasizes the important benefits of trees and encourages people to plant a tree of their own. On Georgia Arbor Day, come along for an easy 1-mile hike on the Big Ferry Trail to see a sample of the many different species of trees found on Georgia’s coast and find out some of their different characteristics.
