Status: Archived We are having another volunteer workday so if you missed the one in February you have another chance. There is always work to be done and the rangers always need a few helping hands with that work. We will be working along the corn field and along the purple trail. Admission is free for volunteers. Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
