Come join us on Iron Hill trail, as we explore the unique geology of Red Top Mountain. We discuss the park's geological history and the the different rocks and minerals found throughout the area. We will also go over why Red Top Mountain was a popular area for mining. Let's rock n' roll!
This will be a pre-register event, so please call the Visitor Center to guarantee your spot. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and please remember to bring snacks and plenty of water as well. Rain gear is also recommended, just in case the weather becomes uncooperative.
