Show support and BLAZE A TRAIL on YOUR STATE PARKS DAY! The trails at Skidaway Island State Park not only link us to our treasured maritime forests and precious marsh habitat, but they also connect us to our historic heritage. To better connect to our heritage and habitats, we will apply trail markers on the Connector Trail.
Join us at the Big Ferry Trailhead at 11:00 a.m. to hike to the Connector Trail. Make sure to wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. Bring water, bug spray, and sunscreen.
Parking fees will be waived for the day for all volunteers. Snacks will be provided by the Friends of Skidaway Island State Park.

Located 15 miles southeast of Savannah on Diamond Causeway. Turn left at the first traffic light on Skidaway Island to enter the park. Please note that some GPS devices will miss this important turn.
