This program requires pre-registration - Join us for a hike down to the Ocmulgee river and experience a part of the historic site grounds rarely seen. We will hike through our forest habitat project then to the river and back again - 3 miles total. Please call the Visitor Center to reserve a spot, December 29 at 4pm is the deadline to register.
Recommended for active adults and children over 8 years. Wear good hiking shoes or boots and bring a water bottle. Expect parts of our trail to cover rough or uneven terrain.
