Outdoors Beyond Barriers: Inspiration Point First Day Hike

Wednesday, Jan 1, 2025 (1 PM to 3 PM)

This 1.5-mile hike to Inspiration Point is for guests with mobility impairments and their loved ones. Six EcoRover wheelchairs will be provided free through DNR's Wildlife Resources Division. We'll also write down our 2024 burdens and toss them in a campfire. Register by December 27 by emailing Lieren.Merz@dnr.ga.gov.

All participants are required to view a virtual training video and sign the EcoRover Chair User Agreement before attending. Near Inspiration Point, we will have a fire-starting lesson and burden burn. Pencil and paper will be available to write your burdens from the year past and throw them into the fire for a fresh start to 2025.
Parking fee: $5
