This program will be one of four 2025 programs that feature threatened and endangered species at Pickett's Mill Battlefield. Come out and learn about one of our heritage trees, the Longleaf Pine, and participate in actual tree planting. There will be staff on hand to answer questions and outside exhibits.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
