Homeschool Days: Wildlife That Requires Fire

This program is suitable for all ages. Students will be learning about the importance of prescribed fires in our ecosystem from a real Wildland Firefighter. We’ll be learning about gopher tortoises, indigo snakes, and even trees that are apart of a fire adapted ecosystem and require fire.

Wildlife and plants being discussed include:
• Gopher Tortious
• Indigo Snakes
• Longleaf Pine
